Tom Ratcliffe - Writer & Cast (Sam)
Tom is an award-winning writer and actor who trained at The Oxford School of Drama. He currently has work attached to Wildcard / Mercury Theatre, Harlow Playhouse and Above the Stag Theatre.
Writing credits include: VELVET (Above the Stag / UK Tour / Pleasance Courtyard), Circa (Theater de Meervaart, Amsterdam / The Old Red Lion) & Gifted (Pleasance Theatre). Tom was awarded the JB Priestley Award for Writers of Promise in 2020. He was shortlisted for the Old Vic 12 in 2016 and has been longlisted for the Verity Bargate, Theatre503 & Papatango playwriting awards. Short plays have included runs at Theatre503, Old Red Lion Theatre & St James Theatre.
Acting credits include: VELVET (Above the Stag / UK Tour / Pleasance Courtyard), Sket (Park Theatre), 5 Guys Chillin' (Kings Head Theatre / Assembly Roxy) & Wars of the Roses (Rose Theatre Kingston). Film credits include Once Upon a Time in London (Gateway Films).

Rikki Beadle-Blair - Director
Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE is a writer, director, composer, choreographer, designer, producer and performer. He has won several awards including the Sony Award, the Los Angeles Outfest Screenwriting and Outstanding Achievement awards. In 2016 he was made an MBE (Member of the British Empire) by HRH Queen Elizabeth II. His projects include several feature films and TV series, including ‘Blackbird’ starring Oscar-winning actress, Mo’nique, ‘Stonewall’ for the BBC, Metrosexuality for Channel 4,’ Noah’s Arc for MTV LOGO as well as FIT, KickOff and Bashment for his own company Team Angelica. He is one of the creative directors of the Visionary Youth Project for young European Film Activists. Rikki also works extensively in theatre and has written 40 plays in the last 20 years that have been performed at Theatre Royal Stratford East, the Bush Theatre, the Soho Theatre, the Tristan Bates Theatre and the Contact Theatre in Manchester. Rikki is committed mentor to a great many
writers, actors, composers and directors.
Nari Blair-Mangat - Cast (Noel)
Nari is an acclaimed actor who trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has worked with some of Britain's most revered actors, writers and directors. Nari won Best Supporting Male Actor in a Play at the Black British Theatre Awards 2020 for his role in Martin Crimp's new adaptation of Cyrano De Bergerac, directed by Jamie Lloyd and starring James McAvoy. The production also won Best Revival at the Olivier Awards and was filmed and broadcast to cinemas globally via National Theatre Live.
Nari performed in the original cast of the West End and NYC smash hit show People, Places and Things written by Duncan Macmillan, directed by Jeremy Herrin and starring Denise Gough. He was the recipient of an Ian Charleson Award commendation for his performance in the critically acclaimed production of Macbeth for the Manchester International Festival, directed by Kenneth Branagh and Rob Ashford. The production subsequently transferred to NYC's Park Avenue Armory and a film is available via the National Theatre Live catalogue. Nari has played the lead role in Shakespeare's Othello several times at different stages of his career; at drama school, in London's West End, and most recently with the Prague Shakespeare Company.
His screen credits include: Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, Disney's Cinderella, Murder On The Orient Express, Death on The Nile, Locked Up Abroad and a guest spot on the TV series Temple. He also played the lead role of Billy Laidlaw in the BAFTA award winning online football video game, I Am Playr.
